Ability to handle multiple projects, stakeholders, and changing priorities. About the job The People Development team works to strengthen Google's performance and culture by preparing Googlers to successfully navigate their most critical challenges today and in the future. We leverage renown expertise, engaging content, tools, technology, and innovative design to scale learning and support Googlers at all stages of their careers. In addition to high-impact learning programs, classes, and resources, we also provide organizational development consulting and customized solutions that increase the health and performance of Google's organizations and overall business. As the Channel Lead, you will lead the strategy and design of one or more of the Google School for Leaders' digital learning channels. The Google School for Leaders uses these channels to deliver learning to Google's people managers across the globe. The current portfolio of Google School for Leaders digital assets is a combination of direct to user programs, opt-in forums, and always accessible resources, all designed to help people managers bring out the best performance in both themselves, and their teams. With remote teams being the new normal, design and delivery of digital learning that has both high engagement, and high effectiveness, is critical. Your work will impact people managers and the Googlers reporting to them, each year. You will improve people manager capability by ensuring each channel is integrated, marketed, and appropriately customized to meet both user and business needs. Great just isn't good enough for our People Operations team (known elsewhere as "Human Resources"). We bring the world's most innovative people to Google and provide the programs that help them thrive. Whether recruiting the next Googler, refining our core programs, developing talent, or simply looking for ways to inject some more fun into the lives of our Googlers, we bring a data-driven approach that is reinventing the human resources field. You'll play an essential role advancing a more diverse, accessible, equitable, and inclusive Google through our hiring, promotion, retention, and inclusion practices. Responsibilities Ensure channel assets meet Google School for Leaders' brand standards, and design is in alignment with the Google School for Leaders' design philosophy. Collaborate with the Google School for Leaders Curriculum team on content design and strategy for one or more digital channels. Engage external vendors on design and/or content strategy, collaborating across People Development to meet production standards and deadlines. Partner across People Development to conduct user testing of channel strategy and design, ensuring insights are factored into design decisions. Use data to evaluate adoption and engagement within each channel, and identify data driven approaches to increase adoption and repeat engagement.
