Marcum Search is currently recruiting for Technology Solutions Sales Executives for their sister company, Marcum Technology. We re seeking qualified experienced and Regional Sales Executives to help sell the solutions, products and services that Marcum Technology customers have grown to rely on. They are seeking a Sales Exec who resides and has contacts in the Washington DC metro region. The ideal candidate must have immediate C-level and IT decision making connections, and 3+ years of proven sales experience in at least one of these areas: DIGITAL ADVISORY SERVICES: RPA/Intelligent Automation, Blockchain, Data Analytics, ERP automation (eg Sage, Intacct, Acumatica), and Financial Solutions, INFRASTRUCTURE SOLUTIONS & SERVICES: Infrastructure Design & Engineering, Cloud Services, Wireless and Mobility Services, Managed CyberSecurity, Endpoint Detection and IT Services, Telecom Optimization, and IT Staff Augmentation STRATEGIC IT CONSULTING: Strategic IT assessments, CIO/CTO as a Service, Digital Transformation, Enterprise System Selection, IT Due Diligence and Restructuring, M&A IT Integration and Strategic IT Road Mapping CYBERSECURITY & DIGITAL FORENSICS: Cybersecurity Assessments, Testing & Simulations, Cyber Forensics, Third-Party Vendor Governance, Information Security Policies and Procedure Development, Incident Response and Crisis Management, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, Regulatory Compliance Readiness Testing, Secure Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity Program Road Mapping and CISO Advisory Services. **Compensation will be based on experience; there is no cap on earnings. The sales executives will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, and the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Often tasked with giving presentations, attending networking events, and attending trade shows, it s essential that our sales rep be personable and professional. Travel will be required where not restricted by local regulations Responsibilities and Objectives of the Role include: Represent our company s products and services, starting with a deep and comprehensive understanding and following with consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs Meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics Generate leads and build relationships planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets Develop and implement territory action plan through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field Daily and Monthly Responsibilities Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offered Possess in-depth knowledge of all service and solution offerings and be able to coordinate demos and relay objection handling Prepare professional, complete, concise and accurate reports, proposals, booking packages, and other documentation as required for executive-level presentations Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following and defined selling process with potential buyers, often utilizing product demos and presentations Coordinate with other sales reps to ensure company quotas and standards are being met, performing market research and regular competitor monitoring REQUIRED: 3-5 years in sales within a technology and service industry setting Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills Proficiency with sales management software and CRM Personal integrity Preferred Qualifications Bachelor s degree Proven success rate at levels above quotas Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism Strong organizational skills and Attention to detail Marcum Search is an Equal Opportunity Employer Marcum Search does not discriminate on the basis of race, ancestry, national origin, color, religion, gender, age, marital status, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, or any other protected classification under the law.
