Peregrine is in search of a Project Manager in the Washington,DC area . Summary: Peregrine is seeking a seasoned Project Manager (PM) to manage a critical cybersecurity effort for a customer located in the National Capital Region. The PM must effectively and efficiently manage cost, schedule, and performance using integrated program management processes across all the contract tasks. Essential Job Functions Managing contract tasks and activities using industry-standard project management processes to initiate, plan, execute, control, and close the project in agreement with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). Creating and maintaining project documentation for each task, including the following as needed: project charters, project plans, project schedules, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), risk registers, lessons learned, requirements documents, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and others. Creating and maintaining an integrated master project schedule of all task areas, dependencies, and resources. Attending and organizing status meetings with customer staff and stakeholders. Proactively tracking and following up on deliverables and subtasks for each task. Developing monthly status reports summarizing the status of completed, ongoing, upcoming tasks, work performed, and issues requiring the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) attention as well as mitigation for identified issues. Tracking and ensuring all staff remain current on mandatory training requirements. Necessary Skills and Knowledge Applicant must read, speak, and write fluently in English. Must be competent with Microsoft Office Suite applications and MS Project. Strong oral and written communication skills. Comfortable presenting to high level government executives. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited academic institution At least eight (8) years of concurrent experience in program and project management supporting information security or cybersecurity projects for the Federal Government. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required. Must provide certificate as evidence of current certification. Must be a US citizen. Proof of citizenship will be required. Must be willing to submit to a background investigation. Preferred Qualifications CISSP or equivalent IAM certification. Has or formerly held a security clearance.
