Description Summary: China Telecom Americas has an immediate need for a Recruiter to support growth and expansion for CT Americas companies in North America and Latin America. Recruiter will have a variety of full life cycle recruiting responsibilities and first ninety-day onboarding initiatives for new hires. Recruiter will report to Manager, Recruiting and Training. Recruiter will lead recruitment for full-time and intern talent and will support Manager and Hiring Managers and collaborate across the HR team and other departments on special initiatives. Successful candidates will have proven experience in recruiting for the Telecom / IT industry for a variety of roles with a desire to learn and grow. Major Tasks & Responsibilities: . Perform and develop full cycle recruiting including drafting job descriptions, placing job postings internally and externally, sourcing candidates, screening applicants, coordinating interviews with hiring managers, working with external recruiters and other sources, and following best practices processes and procedures. . Recommend creative social media resources (ex: LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and /or Facebook, etc.) to support recruitment branding and advertising. . Collaborate with hiring managers for recruiting strategies, candidate screenings and interview training. . Enhance recruiting and screening processes to create efficiencies in hiring, including supporting and monitoring the Company recruiting processes and compliance. . Monitor and maintain job requisitions, applicant's status and notifications in the Company Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including advancing final candidates through the ATS for offer letters. . Review and revise all CTA job descriptions to include updates on Company information, Corporate Culture, and standard format for qualification requirements. . Conduct reference checks on new hires. . Maintain the hiring-related pages of CTA web sites, recommending additions and periodic changes to content to attract top talent. . Support the project planning and integration of a new Company HRIS and Applicant Tracking System. . Provide periodic recruiting-related reporting, monitoring for and recommending appropriate strategic changes of the processes, postings, outsourced partners, etc. . Understand and communicate Company Mission, Vision, Core Values, and policies properly to candidates. . Utilize the ATS features to generate interviews with hiring managers and candidates to integrate with Outlook calendars. . Participate in recruiting events, including universities undergrad and post-graduate career events and Company Intern Programs. . Assist with other HR and Admin projects and duties as needed. Essential Skills, Qualifications and Education Needed: . Bachelor's degree plus 5 years in a recruiting position with full life cycle experience; a combination of agency and corporate recruiting a plus. . Corporate recruiting social media campaign experience. . HRIS systems, recruiting job boards, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and applicant sourcing tools proficiency. . Proven ability to effectively handle confidential information & documentation. . Proven ability to effectively handle responsibilities while working both independently and on a team. . Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with verbal, written, face-to-face and over the phone interactions with partners and all levels of staff and management in English required; Mandarin, Spanish, and/or Portuguese a non-required plus. . Strong attention to time-management and organizational skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks simultaneously, while prioritizing efficiently. . An energetic and positive, can-do approach attitude. . Preference and ability to be a self-starter, well organized, have extreme attention to detail. . Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. . Flexibility to work seamlessly with global teams in different time zones.
