Find your future with us.At Boeing, we are all innovators on a mission to connect, protect, explore and inspire.A' From the seabed to outer space, you'll learn and grow, contributing to work that shapes the world.A' Find your future with us!The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Software Engineer to join the Virtual Warfare Center (VWC) group located in Arlington, VA.In the VWC, you will be a part of a core team of software developers working across multiple sites in the US to enhance several simulation applications and operator interfaces.A' The selected candidate's primary responsibility will be supporting the organization as a Software Engineer focusing on Customer Engagement.Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:Work with Executive and Program Leadership to technically execute our Modeling and Simulation software environment, allowing them to demonstrate and communicate our capabilitiesAssist our Modeling and Simulation Experiment Leads to transition experiments to engagementsWork with Security, IT, and the various other stakeholders to ensure our software environment is maintainedThis position requires an active Secret US Security Clearance. (A US Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)Required Qualifications: Experience with Cross Platform Development (Windows/Linux)Experience with version control systems such as GitExperience working with distributed teamsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with C++Agile SDLC methodologyExperience working autonomously in closed areas with little to no supervisorAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to adapt and respond quickly to issues and events.Ability to track and manage issues with a focus on swift resolution.Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (eg Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (eg PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).
