ResponsibilitiesOur consultants on the Advanced Analytics & Intelligent Automation team help clients maximize the value of their data and automate business processes. This high performing team works with clients to implement the full spectrum of data analytics and data science, from data engineering, data querying and wrangling, to data visualization and dashboarding, to predictive analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence as well as robotic process automation (RPA). Our services enable our clients to define their information strategy, enable mission critical insights and data-driven decision making, reduce cost and complexity, increase trust, and improve operational effectiveness. Our consultants focus on client services, while also supporting business development, internal firm initiatives, and ongoing professional development.Operate in a cloud environment and assess environment specifications and requirements for big dataDevelop, maintain, and test infrastructures for data generation to transform data into a format that can be easily analyzed to drive key business decisionsPartner with data scientists/analysts and cross-functional teams to discover, collect, cleanse, and refine the data needed for analysis and modelingUtilize Spark and DatabricksDevelop,A' build,A' test,A' and maintain scalable data pipeline architectures and toolsAlign architecture with key business requirementsMaintain data lakesManage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) functionsPerform complex queries usingA' SQLUtilize best practices for and identifyA' ways to improve data management, reliability, efficiency, and qualityPrepare data for data science/machine learning/predictive and prescriptive modelingUse data to discover tasks that can be automatedRemove roadblocks to development through collaboration, communication, and creative solutionsDrive development best practices and continuous integration and delivery in an Agile frameworkUnderstand and implement best practices in data management QualificationsRequired:B.S./BA in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar quantitative and computational discipline5+ years of relevant professional experienceExperience developing data pipelines / ETLs and performing data engineering using Spark and DatabricksExperience performing data engineering to enable data science and machine learningExperience in Python or ScalaStrong understanding relational databases, columnar data warehouses, and data modelingProficiency in SQLAbility to instrument basic automation and CI/CD Familiarity with cloud-based services (AWS) and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)Knowledge/experience designing and building distributed systems for scalability and securityUnderstanding of Agile development methodologiesPreferred:M.S./MA in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar quantitative and computational discipline Additional RequirementsThe successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
