Manager, Product Management (Identity & Access Management)

Do you get excited about creating customer experiences that are simple and effective? Do you want to apply your skills to make Capital One even more secure? The Capital One Cloud Identity and Access Management team is looking for a Product Manager just like you.

As a Product Manager you will interview and collect feedback from customers about the IAM products. You will convert that feedback into requirements, use-cases, and Jira stories. You will then meet with your product owners and engineers to pitch these new features and requirements and negotiate trade-offs. Scaled agile experience is a must, as you will need to lead your teams in Program Increment plannings and input/update initiatives, epics, OKRs, and KPIs into Jira. Last but not least you will help develop and execute on a roadmap that includes enterprise initiatives, audit remediations, and developer features.

Responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities to meet our customer needs and expectations
  • Analyze customer feedback and prioritize product roadmap
  • Understand and deliver according to a "minimum viable product" framework
  • Write detailed strategy documents to set the context for the product roadmap
  • Conduct user research and distill the research into product requirement documents for engineering to deliver against
  • Create shared understanding and direction across Engineering, stakeholders, customers, and lines of business
  • Lead the development of OKRs and maintain supplemental KPIs monthly


Basic Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in one of the following: product management, product development , or software engineering
  • At least 2 years of experience working with software development teams
  • At least 1 year of experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM)


Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience translating business strategy into digital products
  • 1+ year of experience with Jira
  • 3+ years of experience in Agile product management
  • Scaled Agile Certification
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification
