The Nitty Gritty As an HR Business Partner, you'll serve as a consultant and advisor regarding HR policy and initiatives such as performance management, onboarding, and coaching for success, with the goal of aligning HR practices to business strategies. * Work closely with managers to provide expertise and hands-on support in multiple areas including workforce planning, onboarding, employee retention, employee relations, management coaching, performance management and change management. * Advise and coach managers on HR policies and programs including employee relations matters. * Provide full life cycle recruiting to include sourcing, screening, interviewing, preparing, and closing candidate offers. * Lead the employee onboarding and offboarding process. * Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation. * Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement. * Recommend improvements to policies, programs, and procedures related to the effectiveness of the HR function. * Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues; assess risk and determine appropriate course of action; conduct thorough and objective investigations as needed; escalate complex issues to HR Director. * Assist with designing presentations and facilitating training to client groups. * Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees and HR compliance. * Act as resource to employees when needed providing guidance on and interpreting company policy as well as assuring that employee perspectives are heard and considered * Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention. * Track and analyze metrics on employee actions, terminations, and voluntary attrition to recommend actions as needed. Position Requirements: What You Offer: We have no doubt you have a lot of skills. We are specifically looking for someone with the following. * Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5+ years of broad HR experience * 3+ years of experience managing employee relation cases * 1+ years of experience with full life cycle recruiting. Technical recruiting a plus. * Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local employment regulations * Goal-driven, self-starter with exceptional written and oral communication skills and an ability to handle interpersonal matters tact and diplomacy * Able to influence without the use of magical powers. * Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. * Ability to establish rapport with all levels of employees within the organization. * Must have strong time/priority management skills. * Computer literacy with the following Microsoft applications: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint What We Offer: A dynamic place to work with fellow creative problem solvers PLUS paid time off including floating holidays, sick days, and volunteer days. 401k with immediate vesting in company match, comprehensive health plans, tuition reimbursement, student loan assistance, access to LinkedIn Learning, and wellness benefits.
