ResponsibilitiesSenior (Sr.) Financial & Business Management Analyst are second level non-management consultants thatA' willA' have responsibility for client management, solution implementation and generation of project results. Sr. Financial & Business Management Analyst will own project workstreams and interact with the client daily to ensure engagement success. This includes supporting day-to-day operational meetings with client sponsors and consulting leaders. Sr. Financial & Business Management Analyst are expected to prepare and communicate well-organized, effective reports and presentations to client and internal executives. Sr. Financial & Business Management Analyst will lead, coach and mentor consultants and ensure quality deliverables.A' Key responsibilities are to provide the following services in support of Federal clients with science and infrastructure mandates:Plan for and lead information gathering sessions and document stakeholder inputFacilitate client meetings to gather data and understand client needs and desired outcomesSupport qualitative and quantitative analysis to enable decision making (eg, needs analysis, cost/benefit analysis)Support financial, data, and business management analysesIdentify and suggest process improvement opportunitiesDevelop work products that clearly synthesize information into recommendations for clientsPrepare training materials and facilitate knowledge transfer to client stakeholdersProvide guidance, coaching, and quality assurance to junior staffA' We encourage career development and hiring for the long term.A' As a Sr. Financial & Business Management Analyst,A' you will follow a clearly defined career path and continue to deepen your specialized industry knowledge and consulting skills. As you hone your project management skills, leadership abilities and the aptitude for managing multiple workstreams, you will have the opportunity to progress toA' the Managing Consultant staff level.A' QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited college/university with a major in any field that included or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: Accounting, Business, Finance, Law, Contracts, Purchasing, Economics, Industrial Management, Marketing, Quantitative Methods, or Organization & Management3+ years of experience, preferably within the public sector Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelStrong written and verbal communication skillsMeet qualifications and successfully be granted a Public TrustCurrently reside or able to relocate to the Washington, DC area is requiredPreferred QualificationsAbove minimum qualifications and the following:Experience in Federal consultingExperience using R, Python, Tableau, and/or robotic process automation (RPA) toolsKnowledge of Federal financial management regulations, such as the Treasury Financial Manual, Federal Financial Management Improvement Act (FFMIA), and OMB Circular A-123Knowledge of Federal budget process Additional RequirementsThe successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
