Small law firm in Manassas, Virginia, with a large personal injury and workers' compensation practice is seeking a full time Spanish speaking paralegal for injury cases. Experience in personal injury and workers' compensation preferred. Position requires strong work ethic, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently. Duties include, but are not limited to: -Obtaining, organizing, and summarizing medical records and bills. -Keeping up to date on client's medical status and treatment. -Preparation of demand packages to the insurer. -Assisting attorney in preparing discovery responses. -Assisting attorney in preparing cases for trial. -Preparing settlement disbursement sheets, verifying medical bill balances, and completing disbursement of settlement proceeds. We are seeking a paralegal who is able to work in a fast paced environment, effectively multi-task, and has great attention to detail. Spanish speaking ability is preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience, and bonuses are paid when cases are settled, allowing for a great opportunity for excellent bonus income.
