And you'll do your life's best work.(sm)The Senior Consultant, Value-Based Care will be a part of a team responsible for solving the most complex and strategic issues facing health systems and provider organizations around the country. Our clients seek assistance researching, analyzing, and interpreting data related to their physician enterprise, value-based programs and health system operations; to position them for operational improvement and revenue growth. This position often interfaces with senior leadership (C-suite) for clients, as well as regular contact with internal team members. The successful candidate will have experience in process improvement, change management, and / or value-based care programs such as ACOs or CINs, and have excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skill sets. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the US as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities: Analyzing, synthesizing, and interpreting data to inform client recommendations Performing detailed, quantitative analysis; building Microsoft Excel models; and preparing operational and financial projections Leading information-gathering efforts Helping develop a project's approach, strategies, and work plans Conducting stakeholder interviews Developing project findings and recommendations Preparing project materials and reports Presenting final deliverables to client sponsors Assisting in the design and implementation of recommended solutions Identifying follow-on opportunities and helping to scope and close follow-on engagementsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business or health-related field 3+ years of experience in healthcare or management consulting and/or physician enterprise/operations and/or value-based care programs Demonstrated diagnostic, analytical, quantitative, written, verbal, and presentation skills Experience solving complex problems and completing challenging projects Demonstrated career progression with increasing responsibilities Ability to travel based on client need with expectations of 50-80% If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (ie, entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener.
