For priority consideration please use the following link to apply: https://cornerstoneconcilium.hua.hrsmart.com/hr/ats/Posting/view/101 Job Description The major duties and responsibilities of the Quality Control Inspector (Rail Car SMS) include, but are not limited to: Perform construction inspection work related to civil, electrical/communications, mechanical, structural, roofing, and general contracting to ensure compliance with plans and specifications; Ensure that those aspects of each project for which he/she is aware are completed in accordance with approved plans and specifications along with approved means, methods, and procedures; and Receive assignments from and report to the Program Manager, WMATA Task Manager, ordesignated representative Skills & Requirements Minimum of three (3) years of experience in quality control inspecting / rail transit / rail car ; Practical knowledge of engineering and construction practices and disciplines, as well as of the codes and regulations relating to different technical areas of construction; Ability to direct a field Inspection staff responsible for a major construction project; and Successful completion of OSHA 10-Hour Construction Course.
