VP of Growth & Business Development
Our ideal candidate will establish and own business development initiatives and sales channels that drive growth at Company. You will create and strengthen relationships with stakeholders including health plans and other partners. You will collaborate in the development of marketing strategy, annual growth plans, and sales strategies that enable the organization to achieve its growth through sales goals. You will be a consultative leader to our potential clients with an understanding of the Health Plan business and its associated regulations, state and federal health programs, and emerging health and healthcare trends. You will be an effective communicator that can adapt to the target audience to translate identified market opportunities into pragmatic and purpose-driven products and solutions that will create profitable new business opportunities that result in growth at the company. What You'll Do: Business DevelopmentCollaborate on corporate-wide growth plans aligned to organizational strategic and operational business unit goals.Develop and execute strategies that open new sales channels through greenfield business development and broaden the Company client base.Identify potential partners and clients for enhanced focus and outreach.Achieve assigned business growth targets for revenue and profit.Proposal Development and ContractingProvide inCompanyce regarding potential clients, partners, competitors, and markets to inform the broader team in the development of opportunity-specific strategy.Ensure proposals are aligned with business development messaging and overall growth initiatives.Participate in solution development and pricing strategy, including price-to-win analysis.Strategic Partner LiaisonPerform outreach and establish key partnerships with Managed Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and Commercial health plans that grow Company.Review and manage aspects of agreements with partners and prospects.MarketingCollaborate on branding efforts that drive awareness of Company across diverse groups.Participate in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns that generate qualified leads and align with company growth objectives.Engage in relevant industry and professional meetings including trade associations, forums, and conferences.Solution DevelopmentContribute market inCompanyce on competitors and market needs to develop responsive products and solutions.Work collaboratively with operational leaders and teams to enhance service offerings when necessary.What You'll Need:Four-year degree in business, marketing, or related field and/or equivalent training and/or experience.7+ years of experience leading business development or sales and marketing activities10+ years of experience in the health plan market.Experience in building trusting relationships and influencing others.Self-starter with an ownership mindset who is comfortable driving company growth in a highly collaborative environment.Demonstrated experience in:Business Development, Business Growth initiatives, sales planning, and execution.Development and execution of business development plans.Company-wide integration of business development plans in a multi-product line company.Building business relationships with executives, partners, and clients.Experience working on business development activities with sales, account management, marketing, proposal teams, and finance.Creating and helping close business opportunities with health plans or other entities administering health programs.Preferred Skills and Abilities:Demonstrated experience in growing the revenue of companies that sell population health and/or health IT products to Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial health plans.Expertise in developing sales channels and helping with pricing products and solutions.Proven track record of delivering new profitable revenue.
