ResponsibilitiesThis position supports a federal agency located in Washington, DC.A' The position will be a SME in the federal asset forfeiture program (AFP) and serve as a task team lead.A' The candidate supports the AFP, analyzing and preparing assessments, providing reports and utilizing CATS and UFMS. The candidate shall provide accounting, financial analysis and support assistance to the AFP.A' Assist in processing invoices, payments reconciliations, tracking allocations, reviewing accounting information providing financial analysis, projections, data presentations, annual financial statements for both asset forfeiture funding (AFF) and seized asset deposit fund (SADF).A' Review AFP data ensuring compliance, support annual audits and preparing policies, procedures for accounting impacting AFP financial reports. Review dashboards, conduct focus reviews, identify risk trends and control challenges.A' Design and maintain reporting tools and templates for management. Provide support and guidance for the agency's operations and meet requirements of OMB Circular A-123.A' Support the AFP optimize the operations of their accounting and finance organization and strengthen internal controls. The candidate will identify, design and implement improved processes that transform their finance function and provide lasting change by empowering the federal workforce to sustain improved operations.A' The role would oversee junior team members, manage project deliverables, schedule and engage with clients. QualificationsRequired:A' Significant experience, minimum of 10 years, leading tasks. Demonstrates ability to provide guidance and direction at the task level Graduate Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related disciplineA' Experience with federal auditing, internal controls, A-123, developing improvement recommendations and interfacing with various levels of federal management, UFMS and CATSThe ability to obtain a Public Trust - Moderate Background Investigation (MBI) clearance is contractually requiredA' US Citizenship is contractually requiredA' A' Desired:A' CPA, CGFM or PMP or related credential Understanding of federal financial management and internal controls Federal project management experience Experience with Federal Financial Management systems, specifically, CGI Momentum and business intelligence software (ie, PowerBI, Tableau) Experience with business process improvement and/or change management Additional RequirementsThe successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
