Special Counsel is immediately seeking experienced Business Development - Sales Directors to join our team!A' Please see position details below and submit your resume ASAP if interested.A' SUMMARY: The SCI Strategic Solutions Director is responsible for improving the organization's market position within designated region(s) and achieving assigned financial growth targets. Builds key relationships with customers, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions. Primarily focuses on firm and corporate staffing solutions. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Prospects for new clients and/or seeks to expand solutions opportunities with existing clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or utilizing other means of generating interest from potential clients. Partners with branch Managing Directors to identify new opportunities within local markets and promote the use of managed service team. Identifies potential clients and decision makers within a client organization; researches and builds relationships. Develops persuasive approaches and sales pitches to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities; prepares and delivers highly effective sales presentations and develops proposals that address client needs, concerns and objectives. Participates in pricing solutions and negotiates and secures profitable pricing that yields achievement of financial goals. Arranges and participates in client debriefs and satisfaction assessments. Attends industry functions and provides feedback and information on market trends and business projections; analyzes and reports on trends with a focus on developing new services, solutions and distribution channels. Forecasts and meets sales targets in line with organizational objectives and goals. Ensures client prerequisites, including prequalification or addition to vendor lists, are fulfilled within a timely manner. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Bachelor's degree in business, law, or a related field with a minimum of eight (8) years of related business development experience is required. Combination of post-high school education and related professional work experience equivalent to twelve (12) years may be considered in lieu of a degree. Willingness and ability to travel required. Prior experience with eDiscovery is highly desirable. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS: Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply industry trends, including within eDiscovery and procurement. Ability to demonstrate a proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads. Ability to effectively negotiate contract terms, pricing and expectations. Ability to effectively and simultaneously manage multiple projects that may vary in nature and scope. Ability to prepare and delivery successful sales presentations, proposals and business correspondence. Ability to address client needs, delivery solutions and maintain high-level client satisfaction. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven, team oriented environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
