The Washington Post's licensing and syndication business counts the top news organizations around the world among its clients, as well as numerous companies beyond media that rely on first-class coverage of the world, the nation, politics and culture. The offering also includes prize-winning photography, graphics, and video.

Licensing & Syndication is looking for a detailed oriented Sales Operations Coordinator to join its licensing and syndication business. This role will work closely with the sales team, Newsroom, and partnerships to help develop efficient sales operations processes to support revenue generation and improve customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Check internal databases to determine whether The Post can grant rights & permissions
  • Provide account maintenance support within the Salesforce platform by updating data points
  • Provide administrative support to sales team
  • Work 10-20 hours per week on a flexible schedule


Requirements
  • Experience with Internet and with various software: MS Word, Excel, Adobe Photoshop
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills to communicate with Newsroom and Partnerships
  • Ability to work as a team player, succeed in a remote work environment, and contribute to general sales operations
  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Ability to be proactive in providing any additional assistance to the sales staff
