Sr Tax Director/Manager Responsibilities : Prepare personal tax returns (1040, 1041) Prepare business tax returns (1120, 1120S, 1065) Tax Trust Experience Provide individuals and businesses with tax advice to help guide financial decisions Develop, maintain and manage relationships with valued clients and prospects Utilize multiple platforms for collaboration and data storage Use CCH Axcess and CCH Tax Research Minimum Job Requirements : CPA 15+ years in public accounting as a CPA/EA or 10+ years as a non-licensed professional Experience preparing personal and business tax returns Successful track record of leading a team Skilled in computerized tax and accounting systems (CCH, Xero, and Quickbooks) Bachelor's degree minimum, Master's degree preferred Additional Expectations : Highly motivated and deadline driven Customer-centric - ability to consistently provide exceptional customer service Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks, and seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision Strong verbal and written communication skills Detail oriented with excellent analytical experience Holds self and others accountable for ensuring that results are achieved Manage immediate accounting staff and any other staff member performing any of the accounting functions including but not limited to a bookkeeper(s) Prepare federal, state, and local business and individual tax returns. Research domestic and cross-border taxation matters and professionally present findings and opinion; Analyze financial information, call attention to trends, and make recommendations; Duties include highlighting to management potential issues affecting expenses, balances, or cash flow; Analyze operations of businesses of various industries, monitoring their trends, understanding and projecting their costs and revenues; Develop, implement, modify, and document record-keeping and accounting systems, using current computer technology; Ensure compliance with payment, reporting or other tax requirements; Handle business clients' year-around accounting in various industries Ensure accounting is completed in accordance with established accounting practices Salary / Benefits Package : Salary to be negotiated based on experience Full benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401k with generous matching, free parking, and 24 PTO days + paid holidays, paid CPE, Maternity leave.
