Clinical Director of Behavioral Health Services
TheA' ClinicalA' Director of Behavioral Health ServicesA' is a vital team member withinA' theA' Virginia Programs. This position willA' be responsible forA' theA' expansion ofA' theA' VOACA' Behavioral Health Services inA' VirginiaA' to ensure licensing with DBHDS and Medicaid reimbursement services.A' A' This position will oversee theA' outpatientA' SUDA' services,A' SAMSHAA' programA' and to ensure Behavioral Health services areA' integratedA' across VOACC programs, where appropriate.A' A' A' This positionA' providesA' supervision,A' theA' oversiteA' ofA' clinical and therapeutic roles, which includes direct services to clients who may have been identified as needing both mental health and substanceA' useA' treatment.A' Additionally, this position will oversee the billing of licensed services, ensure thatA' duties entail individual counseling, group therapy,A' psychoeducation,A' mental health assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, coordination and referral to other health care providers, maintenance ofA' accurateA' records and discharge planning.A' Additionally, this position willA' be responsible forA' overseeing Medicaid billing, tracking productivity standards, and assessing the clinical interventions that are being provided byA' the clinicalA' treatmentA' team.A' RESPONSIBLITIES:A' A' Coach, supervise andA' develop staff to ensure quality serviceA' provision.A' Oversight forA' accurateA' Medicaid billing and productivity standards.A' Responsible for provision of mental health services concurrently with substance abuse/chemical dependencyA' treatment.A' ProvideA' servicesA' in accordance with the objectives,A' goals,A' policies and procedures ofA' agencyA' recovery services.A' TrackA' andA' monitorA' treatmentA' outcomes as established byA' programA' contracts.A' A' Maintain working knowledge of SAMSHA grantsA' andA' projects.A' Ensure SAMSHA reporting and data points are capturedA' andA' documented.A' A' Provide clinical supervision to treatment staff.A' A' Ensure that services are person centered.A' A' Ensure thatA' mental health assessments (SCID) areA' conducted, as per program guidelines.A' Provide individual counseling and education to individualsA' via variousA' evidenced basedA' counseling methods,A' didactic trainingA' and videoA' learningA' materials.A' A' Oversee clinicians'A' treatmentA' documentation and writtenA' reports inA' aA' timely manner.A' Work withinA' theA' team to address housing needs/barriers andA' ensureA' continued treatment.A' EnsureA' Case Management servicesA' are providedA' in accordanceA' withA' best practices.A' OverseeA' referrals toA' addressA' clients'A' needsA' ie,A' mental healthA' providers, social serviceA' agenciesA' andA' continuing care.A' Provide advocacy and follow-up on referrals as needed.A' Attend staff meetings and work collaboratively withA' staff in case-staffing andA' reviews.A' Route accurate and complete statistical data to VP, Director of Operations, andA' agency'sA' Office of ExcellenceA' in a timely manner.A' Participate inA' allA' trainingsA' related Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: LSW orA' master's degreeA' in psychology, human services, counseling, or substance abuse/addiction counseling.A' A' Experience working in SUD Outpatient Programs and/orA' BHA' treatment programA' whichA' would inA' include knowledge of the DBHDS regulations, licensing process, andA' reimbursementA' through Medicaid.A' A' QMHP certification preferred.A' TwoA' (2)A' years'A' experience, atA' minimum.A' A' Licensure in Virginia (LCSW,A' PhD)A' required.A' Experience in ramping up a new BH program.A' A' PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: LCSW, LSW or PhD in Psychology.A' A' Strong background inA' SUD ServicesA' & outpatientA' BH Treatment services and design.A' A' TwoA' (2)A' years'A' experienceA' working in aA' supervisory capacity.A' Licensure in
