About the Role This position reports to the Controller and is crucial to our organization to help manage the in-house accounting functions, assist with required tax and government forms, and assist in other administrative functions needed within the team.Job Requirements:Responsibilities Assists in the management of the computerized system of general ledgers, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, and payroll. Enters data and runs reports, checks for accounting functions Maintain accuracy of records and accounting and purchasing files, including preferred vendor system Ensures timely invoicing, collection, and bill payment Works with sales and administration on credit references and terms for new customers. Contacts customers regarding invoices and statements as necessary Coordinates with Warehouse team on product inventory, tracks, and audits Coordinates with various departments regarding billing and vendors Displays professionalism when representing the company to clients, visitors, associates, applicants, or vendors. Maintains high confidentiality level dealing with accounting functions Provides assistance and support in administrative duties This is a growth position where you will assume more responsibilities after your initial training period What we are looking for: 3+ years in accounting (background in manufacturing/construction a plus) Intermediate experience with Sage/Peachtree or other accounting software Advanced Excel skills Minimum AA Degree in Accounting Excellent communication skills and high integrity a must Bilingual/familiarity with Spanish a plus!
