Job Number: R0108292Wi-Fi Systems EngineerKey Role:Maintain responsibility for the design, development, and integration of 802.11-based communication systems. Apply knowledge of radio frequency (RF) and wireless local area network (WLAN) theory and industry best practices to design end-to-end solutions based on client requirements. Demonstrate knowledge of Wi-Fi fundamentals, security, site surveying, installation and deployment considerations, and troubleshooting. This position requires occasional travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations to support customer projects. Basic Qualifications:-4+ years of experience with wireless and networking in end-to-end engineering and business capacities to deploy mobile capabilities-4+ years of experience with conducting WLAN enterprise site surveys and network designs-4+ years of experience with routing and switching fundamentals-Experience in various WLAN topologies, including indoor, outdoor, high-density, campus, mesh, remote, or industrial and with WLAN survey tools, including Ekahau, iBwave, or AirMagnet-Experience with wireless intrusion detection and prevention systems (WIDS/WIPS)-Ability to be a self-starter and work independently-Ability to communicate, coordinate, and consult with greater internal and client teams to drive solutions towards completion and implementation readily-Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to CONUS and OCONUS sites to support WLAN systems engineering projects-Secret clearance-BA or BS degree Additional Qualifications:-Experience with AAA and identity-based access solutions for WLAN deployments-Knowledge of PKI implementation, including X.509 certificates and certificate authorities-Knowledge of a national agency's Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) WLAN and Mobile Access Capability Packages to design and deploy classified mobility solutions-Ability to monitor new WLAN and mobile technology and vendor and industry landscape regularly-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills to develop technical briefs and convey complex technical topics to a diverse audience-Top Secret clearance-Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) or Certified Wireless Security Professional (CWSP) Certification Clearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.We're an EOE that empowers our people"A cents € no matter their race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristic"A cents € to fearlessly drive change.#LI-AH1, APC5
