Resurrection-St. Paul School, located in Ellicott City, Maryland seeks a highly skilled individual to serve as a middle school science teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. Resurrection-St. Paul School provides a Catholic education through excellent academic and extracurricular programs that promote leadership, achievement, and service within the church and community. We are a STEM accredited school through Cognia and offer a 1:1 Chromebook program for Grades 1-8. This is an in-person teaching opportunity. Job Responsibilities: Plan and execute an instructional program that upholds the values and ideals of the Catholic Church and the mission of Resurrection-St. Paul School.Meet the needs, interests and abilities of students in accordance with the curriculum. Effective instruction will include differentiated learning.Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students at all times, and for classroom management using PBIS (positive behavior intervention and support) protocols.Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and administration to plan, implement and evaluate the instructional program.Must be proficient in using a variety of technology during daily lessons as well as to enrich and differentiate instruction Qualifications:Degree in math or Education with a science concentrationMSDE teacher certification or willingness to obtainKnowledge of curriculum, and principles and practices of pedagogyFollows and maintains knowledge of all AOB policies and procedures.Maintain high professional standards consistent with the mission of Resurrection-St. Paul School and the teachings of the Catholic Church.
