Archbishop Borders School, the only Dual Language School in the Archdiocese of Baltimore, has an opening for a teacher to be responsible for teaching English Language Arts and Religion to 6th, 7th, 8th grade students. The teacher will collaborate with other disciplines to promote cross-curricular activities. Job Responsibilities: Teach 3 subjects in English (English Language Arts and Religion) to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade studentsAssume responsibility for 7th grade homeroomResponsible for teaching children of all ability levels and adjusting the curriculum for all learnersResponsible for continuing education to maintain teacher and faith formation certification.Collaborates with partner teachers and other members of the academic team in planning and implementing the instructional programQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in educationMSDE teacher certification with Middle School Language Arts EndorsementsExcellent communication and collaboration skills, position involves co-planning of lessons and curricula.Must be an active practicing CatholicProficient with technology
