Configuration Manager Position Description CGI Federal is seeking an experienced Configuration Manager for an exciting opportunity within our Intel Community. Your future duties and responsibilities Provides overall configuration management infrastructure and environment to the product development team. The Configuration Manager has to ensure that the CM environment facilitates product review, change, and defect tracking activities. This role includes writing the CM plan and reporting progress based on change requests, understanding configuration management principles, and preferably having experience or training in the use of CM tools. This role is responsible for the execution of the process which includes operating the defined and agreed process, ensuring it interfaces with all other relevant processes, reviewing the effectiveness and efficiency of the process, performing process audits, and managing the process improvement cycle. Required qualifications to be successful in this role Minimum bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or information management, or five years of comparable work experience. Desired skills include up to five or more years of configuration management experience as well as a security clearance status of TS/SCI with a Cl polygraph test, per Federal stipulation. Prefer candidates who have experience in the Intelligence Community. Candidate must be thorough.
