CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Physical Access Control System (PACS) Technical Lead on our ICAM program. This role requires the Technical Lead to wear several hats and to contribute on both a technical and functional leadership level. Activities include providing guidance and consultation on new and upcoming PACS technologies and processes, defining and refining new and existing technical requirements, updating policy and helping support remote offices PACS needs. You will apply technical expertise in implementing efficiencies and creating strategies to better manage the clients PACS program. Must be able to lead a team in developing recommendations that match the client's current and future needs. We employ open-source tooling and a service-oriented approach to build and deploy containerized microservices using Red Hat Fuse/Camel on OpenShift. The candidate will require advanced Java/JEE knowledge and will work with a team of financial subject matter experts as well as software engineers with extensive experience in the federal financial integration space and other applicable domains. Your future duties and responsibilities Daily activities include working with customer teams and supporting current tasks and activities. Works closely with customer delivery managers to prioritize daily tasks. Provides technical and analytic expertise to the client and delivery team in support of the program. Develops and refines several PACS related artifacts, including a program plan that identifies requirements and key activities. Provide subject matter expertise, technical support and operational advice on the client's PACS activities, including modernization efforts such as the use of credentials, tokens and potential use of Near Field Communication evolution as a replacement for the PIV card. Assists the delivery team and client's ICAM staff with articulating guidance based on established federal and client policy. Provides remote technical assistance to support client staff at regional sites who are responsible for conducting USAccess PIV testing in the client's PACS systems. Provides subject matter expertise and technical assistance to the ICAM staff in to help local site staff in efforts to resolve any HSPD-12 PIV card system issues in PACS systems as well as other day-to-day operational support issues. Generally supports client staff in providing expertise, recommendations and technical support for the PACS program. Maintains client confidence and keep information confidential. Identify, escalate and communicate issues in a timely manner. Required qualifications to be successful in this role Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required. 9+ years of experience in deployment, maintenance and support of a large enterprise level PACS Program. Has experience in working with large federal PACS deployments and support operations as a PACS SME. Experience working with PACS systems such as Lenel OnGuard, HID and/or JCI. Experience with various versions of PIV card testing with different PACS systems. Expertise in Electronic Security Systems (ESS) to include PACS, Duress Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), CCTV Systems, Physical Security Information Management Systems (PSIM) and Physical Identity Access Management. Experience supporting technical and operational reports on the performance of PACS programs and conducting large working groups or stakeholder meetings to educate on PACS. Expertise of policies and federal guidance for PACS. Experience in providing installation and transition support of PACS devices and software. At least one of the following: Certified Protection Professional (CPP), certified as Physical Security Professional (PSP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified System Engineer ICAM PACS (CSEIP), or other industry recognized cybersecurity certifications such as the CISSP or CISA.
