Job Title: RecruiterLocation: Herndon, VA & Washington, DC (Work will be performed remotely until otherwise instructed. ) Duration: 12 Month(s)Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM - (40 hours/week, one hour break during the work day) Job Description: Designs and implements proactive and innovative sourcing approaches and tools such as social media Internet analytics and database mining to create talent pools and identify potential candidates for target positions in compliance with Federal guidelines requirements and standards. Performs recruiting activities to create and execute strategies to attract and maintain the interest of qualified candidates based on staffing needs. Sources and attracts candidates by using multiple channels. Actively manages candidate pools including passive candidates. Screens interviews and assesses candidates based on federal regulations.Required skills/Level of Experience:- Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (eg, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and technology-based collaboration tools (eg, WebEx, SLACK, MS Teams, SharePoint, Box).- Design and implement innovative sourcing approaches. - Use social media, Internet analytics, and database mining tools to create talent pools and identify potential candidates for target positions. - Perform recruiting activities to attract and maintain the interest of qualified candidates. - Screen interview and assess candidates based on federal regulations.- At least five years of experience in recruiting two of which is in digital recruiting.Nice to have skills:- Knowledgeable in the end-to-end federal staffing process for hiring and movement of federal personnel and applicants.- Meeting planning- Group and meeting facilitation- Experience within Department of Commerce- Prior shared services or transition experience- One or more years of recruiting directly for a Federal agency strongly preferred.- Experience using automated applicant tracking systems and other systems to supporting hiring and onboarding
