Infrastructure Engineer - Work Management ToolsJob Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Infrastructure Engineer - Work Management ToolsA' for a contract position in Reston, VA. Opportunity will be six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.Position Summary: The Level II Engineers work as part of a team (engineers and analysts) responsible for supporting work management platforms, product vision and technology solutions for client. Responsibilities include but not limited to working with our vendors and other engineers to design, develop and implement solutions. Additionally, the candidate will serve as a JIRA product owner and will be responsible for creating design specifications and preparing technical documentation. The successful candidate will an interest and background in Jira and other Work Management tools and technologies. This person will provide support for various systems, such as ServiceNow, and Miro.Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:Help build the strategy to improve workforce productivity through work management technologies.Promote best practices within the team to improve quality, reduce risk, increase security, promote efficiency, and reuse, and minimize costs.Analyze business needs that align with Work Management platforms capabilities in support of workforce engineering and operations.Innovate our Jira and other work management and support technologies.Document designs using best practices with a focus on user experience and security.Be the subject matter expert for our JIRA solution while also being quickly jump in other area within our work management capabilities.Work with our vendors to design, develop, implement, support, and innovate our JIRA technology.Provide operational support for all capabilities in our advanced support and collaboration portfolio.Maintain a thorough understanding of existing and emerging Jira as well as other End User work management technologies to drive collaboration, productivity, and an improved user experience.PROBLEM SOLVING & INNOVATIONIdentifies problems that affect departmental effectiveness or flow of work to other areas.Solicits perspectives and ideas from others to resolve problems.As appropriate, recommend changes in work functions, systems, or procedures; proposes and helps implement improvement experiments using modern engineering design methods.Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.
