We are seeking a Senior Accountant to be a key member of our corporate accounting team in our Tysons, VA corporate location. Responsibilities: Participate in the month-end close process by preparing journal entries, reviewing and monitoring activity in assigned GL departments and providing variance analysis as needed. Prepare account reconciliations for all assigned general ledger accounts and proactively research and resolve variances. Maintain organized tracking of contracts and invoices and prepare related allocation entries to the business units. Maintain Fixed Asset tracking for corporate projects and place assets in service when ready. Record revenue for certain advertising products and allocate amounts to our business units. Review and code vendor invoices in the Oracle accounts payable module. Reconcile national digital receivable accounts. Prepare and distribute project billing. Partner with the Financial Planning and Analysis team to distribute approved capital purchase request (CPR) notifications to appropriate internal contacts and track company-wide capital spending Assist with special corporate projects as assigned. Respond to internal and external inquiries timely and professionally. Execute and maintain internal key controls related to corporate accounting. Provide analysis and reporting support for internal/external business partners. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; Minimum 3-5 years accounting experience; Excellent communication skills (verbal/written); Detail oriented; Demonstrated problem solving ability (identify problems and develop/implement solutions); Ability to take ownership and drive projects/issues to completion; Works well in teams; Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize to meet deadlines.
