We are recruiting for an Automated Software Tester to work in support of aA' web applications development environment.A' Qualified candidates will have experience working wtih requirements and test teams supporting redeveloping and executing test plans, procedures, and scenarios and a solid understanding of the concepts of web-based software applications. Current security clearance credentials are required for consideration. Must have TS/SCI + CI poly eligible Role and responsiblities include: Redevelop and execute test plans, procedures, and scenarios for unit, process, function, system integration, and acceptance testing Consult with the development and requirements team to coordinate and test applications, create automated test scripts, test existing applications for compliance with upgrades Ensure new applications and software modifications meet requirements and operate satisfactorily in the system environment Write detailed test plans, procedures, and scenarios Document the successes and failures of all executed test procedures and disseminate to the test team to ensure test team has clearly defined processes Requirements include: US citizenship Current TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly (current TS/SCI may be scheduled for CI poly, if needed) Bachelor's degree in a related discipline 5+ years of related experience supporting automated testing for test procedure development, maintenance, and execution Additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree Experience withA' Microsoft .NET web-based software development Experience with HP Unified Functional Testing Software (UFT) software is highly desired Ability to interpret and translate requirements Experience working with performance test tools - experience withA' multiple tools is a plus Proficiency creating automated test scripts Ability to interpret requirements and develop/create test cases Familiarity with the concepts of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS)A' Knowledge of the SQL database query language to assess the state of data before and after test transactionsA' Ability to detect, report, and explain defects effectively Experience with planning and goal setting toA' determine strategies for accomplishing results Effective communication skills to succeed in a blended govenrment and contractor environment interacting with technical and functional staff #CB MON #D
