Systems Development Engineer9-11 months contractRemote (Eastern time zone only) Not available for C2C gngagement or visa sponsorshipOVERVIEW:Our high profile client is seeking a Systems Development Engineer with coding/automation expertise in Python or Java and strong experience in AWS services for a 9 month contract assignment. This role is remote and seeking candidates currently located in the Eastern time zone.REPONSIBILITIES:The individuals will work with an Engineer and Technical Program Manager to design, build, and test a WorkDocs-based solution to enable data exchange with external parties, and enable data migration to/from existing platforms leveraged for data exchange with business partners.Solution design and implementation must meet the Company's high bar for Security, scaling, and Operational Excellence.Internal Company tooling will be leveraged to conduct code reviews, code commits, and pipeline deployment.Key requirements for this solution are:(1) enabling self-service enrollment of Company business partners(2) baselining mechanism for internal and external access,(3) developing an authentication and authorization mechanism,(4) developing a data exchange mechanism with an emphasis on strong ownership, guard rails and approval workflows for data exchange(5) meeting all organizational, technical, and security requirements, which will be partially defined at the onset of work.REQUIRED SKILLS:Scripting or Development using Java or Python languagesAWS Experience with Authentication/Authorization, IAM, and serverless architectureDemonstrated Experience with Systems Development and IntegrationClaims-based authentication/Identity managementPREFERRED SKILLS:AWS Certifications, Solutions Architect or DeveloperExperience building highly scalable AWS-based servicesExperience with WorkDocs & WorkDocs APIsWindows file servers5-8 years of experienceAbility to build a good UIExperience with different programming languages (Python, Java, Go, etc.)Experience with AWS products and services
