Experience with Fiserv DNA a huge plus, and any experience supporting Applications for a credit union or financial institution!A' A' Interested in applying?A' Send resume to Ben Sheridan, Sr. Account Manager, viaA' bsheridan@!A' A' Summary of Application Support:?A' Ticket response for finance application supportA' & app support is for financial applicationsA' (currently on Fiserv SpectrumA' and moving to Fiserv DNA)A' A lot of SQLA' queries and scriptingA' (PowerShell scripts); modifying scripts, not writing new scriptsA' Working on tier 2 tickets from help desk, application support issues/questions, server patching, update, app support.A' A' A' Core Responsibilities of Application Support:A' A' Collaborates with end users, analysts, peer system administrators, and management in conceptualizing the development of new software integrations and applications by analyzing existing workflow and understanding current system challenges in order to meet operational needs in a cost effective manner.??Responsible for identifying needs and analyzing existing applications for potential enhancements to business processes thereby leveraging existing software features.A' Develops?technological solutions for processes and/or workflow by?performing analysis and providing automation improvements. Validates results by testing programs and provides assistance with new procedures.??Assists with solving organization information problems.A' Provides technical support for projects in support of requirements evaluating options and developing project plans to ensure appropriate coordination and sequencing of tasks.A' Maintains the integrity, performance, reliability and security of application systems. Installs and supports server and PC based software.??This includes actively reviewing new enhancements/features, coordinating updates, and making recommendations regarding vendor/application direction and fit within Infrastructure.A' In conjunction with (cooperation with) IT Architect and vendors, (following SQL best practices), provides administration and??technicalA' support for in house database servers.?A' Investigates and resolves enterprise application functionality issues.??Provides second level troubleshooting support for core system issues and ancillary applications.A' Develops and modifies?job control language and/or adjusts system parameters according to documentation to incorporate new features and/or resolve production issues, depending on the?credit union needs and requests.?A' If feasible, identifies opportunities and gathers business needs /requirements to utilize existing APIs and SDKs. Writes, translates, codes, and maintains software integrations and applications according to specifications.??Develops programming scripts to enhance functionality and/or performance of company applications as necessary.A' Produces core system reports and data extracts in various formats and delivery channels based on end user requirements. Supports user departments with accurate and timely responses to requests for information Creates and maintains credit union forms with core system integration based on user requests.A' Performs appropriate research and testing, in addition to following change management protocols to implement change requests, new business processes, or applications.A' Ensures that current and complete documentation of system specifications are maintained and updated.??Writes technical procedures and recovery documentation for applications.??Ensures that internal technical documentation is accurate and up-to-date.??A' Establishes and coordinates backup and recovery procedures for applications and databases in conjunction with network administrators.??Verifies and tests Disaster Recovery of all software applications.A' Serves as a leader for application administration across multiple operating systems, hardware types, and application servers.??Responsible for providing primary support and expertise to critical applications such asA' Onbase,?Fiserv Spectrum core system, and Data Warehouse.??A' Demonstrates an understanding of the fundamentals of Server Administration and Operating System environments across the enterprise.??Administers and manages organization data resources. Works with vendors to obtain best practices to ensure data availability, integrity and security, recover corrupted data and eliminate data redundancy, and leverages database tools to improve database performance and efficiency.A' Demonstrates proficiency and experience in installing, updating, tuning and diagnosing both internal and third-party applications.??Demonstrates strong experience in installing, implementing, and maintaining current Windows server products.A' In conjunction with the IT Architect, responsible for disaster recovery strategy for applications and databases to include the most cost effective and efficient means of meeting business recovery objectives.A' Demonstrated proficiency in creating and maintaining deployments packages/scripts.?A' Provides technical guidance and/or instruction to IS staff members. (Team Lead)A' RequirementsA' ApplicationA' Support:A' A' Knowledge of relational database and query conceptsA' (ie MSSQL, Oracle, Access).A' Knowledge and experience supporting applications in a WAN environment.?A' Extensive knowledge of Microsoft suite of desktop applicationsA' Basic knowledge of networking technologies and concepts to include LAN/WAN/Firewall.A' Preferred Qualifications of Application Support:A' Proficiency in a variety of programming and scripting languages, including Java,A' .NET, SQL, and/or PerlA' Knowledge of financial institution systems (ie. Core processing, reporting, etc.)A' A' Preferred certifications include: CBAP, MCTS (Database), MCITP (Database), MCSA, PMPA' Ability to create and organize reports that synthesize complex information.A' We can provide training in all of the above areas, and we have certification prep for each of those certifications!
