Position Overview:

Freddie Mac Single-Family is looking for an ambitious UX Designer to join our Digital Client Experience Team. We're looking for a self-starter who can quickly assess business problems and develop solutions in a fast-paced environment.

**This position can be performed currently from a remote location in the U.S. but will require presence in a Freddie Mac office in the future.***

Our Impact:
The Digital Client Experience team supports client-facing web experiences for the Single-Family business, providing critical resources and guidance to help our clients run their business.
Your Impact:
  • Conduct research to better understand client needs and pain points, coordinating with various departments to develop research plans, interview guides, etc. and distill research results into actionable digital recommendations
  • Support information architecture and navigation improvements through an understanding of the Single-Family business and how our clients think about our content
  • Determine solutions to business problems via wireframes, mockups, template recommendations
  • Collaborate with Digital Strategy, Marketing Strategy, Analytics, Content Management, and Development teams
  • Provide support in developing requirements and product testing plans
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in UX research/design
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Illustrator, etc.
  • Mortgage/financial industry experience not required, but a plus!

  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests and meet deadlines
  • Understanding of analytics and how performance informs design
