The Development Coordinator, Leadership & Board Engagement will provide logistical and administrative support for the Foundation Chief of Staff and Stewardship & Donor Relations. This includes administrative support for the Foundation Board, the Foundation Advisory Board, and the Founder's Auxiliary Board. Working with the Foundation Leadership team, s/he will provide project management and support for these Foundation priority projects and prospect's strategic cultivation and solicitation plans. Will plan and help execute board/donor events including lunches, dinners, and tours. Will assist in providing logistical coordination and staffing support including scheduling meetings, making travel and meeting reservations, assisting in the development of agendas, keeping meeting notes and monitoring follow-up on action items. Will provide support to the senior leadership of the Foundation on special projects as requested. Will support Stewardship & Donor Relations with project and data management related to recognition opportunities.

Qualifications

Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree (Required)

Minimum Work Experience
2 years Relevant experience (Required)

Required Skills/Knowledge
Strong computer skills - high proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
Ability to take initiative, work independently , and think creatively to manage projects effectively .
Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to details.
Strong persuasive writing and editing skills.
Strong research skills.
Strong project management skills.
Willingness to work collaboratively with a team to produce finished products.

Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of professionals: physicians, scientists, administrators, and development officers.
Experience with Raiser's Edge and Asana preferred.
Familiarity and understanding of fundraising processes preferred.

Functional Accountabilities
Project Management Support
  • Provides administrative project management support, coordination and execution for special events.
  • Handles project managing requests for Recognition Opportunities in Asana: Tracks request and project progress, adding action steps with assignments and deadlines, loading renderings and final files.
  • Updates GiftMap by tracking new requests, pulling reports, adding floorplans and opportunities.
Research & Data Management
  • Performs regular data updates for board listings.
  • Performs data-entry in support of board-related projects.
Administrative
  • Provides staffing support to include scheduling meetings, reconciliation of credit cards and budget tracking.
  • Develops agenda for Executive Leadership Meetings, Naming & Recognition Committee meetings, Space Planning Meetings, Foundation meetings, take meeting notes and track follow-up actions.
  • Organizes and manages shared drive and ongoing clean-up ensuring files are in appropriate folders.
