Job Summary:
Westat is seeking a junior mobile application developer with experience developing and deploying mobile applications for Android and Apple mobile devices.
 
Job Responsibilities:
• Work collaboratively with other Westat staff to define and document mobile app requirements.
• Design and Develop native and web based consumer and enterprise mobile applications.
• Integrate Westat mobile apps with other platforms.
• Deploy consumer applications to Google Play and the Apple App Store and enterprise applications to Westat personnel.
   
Basic Qualifications:
• A bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of technology experience is required.
• Experience developing mobile apps using Xamarin tools for native application development, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3 in support of mobile browser-based solutions as well as integration with social networking tools is required.
 
Candidates should have experience deploying iOS and Android apps to consumer mobile app stores, as well as deploying enterprise mobile apps. Experience with mobile device management (MDM) tools is desirable.
