As a Hearing Tech you will:
• Complete universal hearing screens on all newborns in accordance with the recommendations of the Joint Committee on Infant Hearing (2019) and MD Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) Program.
• Excellent job for students in training in a health care profession.
• Onsite training and orientation prior to testing independently.

Qualified candidates will possess:
• Minimum of High School Diploma required
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Bilingual Spanish/English required
• Independent workers with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Previous experience with neonates or babies is desirable.

Work Schedule:

*Bilingual Spanish/English required

Part-time, Monday through Friday, including holidays that fall on workdays.
  • Shifts start at 8:00am
  • Length of shift is flexible due to newborn census
  • Availability for occasional weekend coverage, when needed is a plus.
