Job Summary/Company: Our client, a top-rated, local federal credit union, is looking for an IRA Specialist to join its team. Qualified candidates will bring experience updating and maintaining IRA accounts.

This position will be 100% onsite.

  • Fulfilling IRA/HSA requests and inquiries submitted by branches, member services, members and non-members
  • Securing and maintaining confidential member information
  • Processing IRA/HSA contributions, distributions, incoming/outgoing transfers and rollover requests
  • Opening new, and modifying existing IRA/HSA accounts via mail and online
  • Providing quality assurance checks and feedback on IRA work processed Reviewing documentation and processing decedent distributions in compliance with our partners guidelines and within the standards of Ascensus and the IRS
  • Reviewing tax forms, researching IRA/HSA transactions to make appropriate corrections for accurate reporting, under supervision
  • Updating member records and processing account maintenance requests
  • Responsible for document management related to scanning and archiving documentation
  • Maintaining and processing W8s and W9 forms

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • At least 2-3 years IRA experience and related processing/policies
  • Proficiency with Fiserve DNA or Fiserve Spectrum highly preferred
