Dewberry is currently seeking a Director of ERP Systems that will able to lead the team through an up and coming migration from JDEdwards to our next Gen ERP system as well as be responsible for day to day operations, support and maintenance of the company's ERP dependent applications. The Director will lead a team of managers, application analysts and administrators; direct projects within his/her application groups, and work with other IT groups as needed. This position will report to the Deputy CIO.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the operations, support and maintenance efforts of the ERP application environment, which includes the Financial and Human Capital Management application suites.
  • Manages a team of Application Managers, Application Analysts and Application Administrators, supporting critical business applications and functions, responsible for analysis, design, documentation, testing and support of all enhancements associated with these applications.
  • Financial and Federal government compliance regulations to include Audit and Compliance practices
  • Directs multiple projects, providing direction to team members.
  • Responsible for providing analysis, maintenance and support of other applications that integrate to the ERP, such as Dayforce, Procure to Pay, Hubble budget application, LMS and other applications.
  • Manages and maintains IT General Controls and compliance associated with all Financial and HCM applications.
  • Provides accurate estimates and timely updates to peers and other management.
  • Participate in annual testing of the enterprise disaster recovery plan to ensure successful recovery of applications.
  • Performs annual performance reviews and related managerial duties.
  • On call during non-business hours.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Skills & Required Experience

Education/Training:
  • BS or BA college degree and 5 years of IT experience.
  • ERP software application environments.
  • Workforce Management technologies and methodologies.

Job Knowledge/Experience:
  • 15+ years of experience implementing, supporting and maintaining a ERP environment, focused on HCM and Financials.
  • 10+ years managing personnel, applications and projects.
  • Current Human Resources and Payroll regulations knowledge.
  • Working experience and understanding of all phases of the application development life cycle and IT General Controls.
  • Strong analytical, evaluative and problem-solving skills.
  • Critical decision-making experience.
  • Ability to conduct and direct research into IT issues and products as required.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
