Intralox's equipment portfolio has been growing at a rapid pace, nearly tripling revenues from 2016 to 2020. Now planning to be a $500M business globally and half of the company's revenue overall, the business has becoming increasingly complex, with fast growth across products and manufacturing strategies. We need an Operations Analyst to ensure we maximize our capacity utilization while keeping our customer commitments.

This individual will lead our Sales & Operations Planning process, working closely with Commercial team to understand our commercial forecast and provide visibility to Operations teams so they have appropriate inputs to plan their work in a coordinated fashion. In addition, the Operations Analyst will support the various Operations teams (such as Engineering, Supply Chain, Materials Management, Assembly, and Integration) to take ownership of their planning tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with commercial and operational teams to gather the commercial forecast and resources required to meet our customers equipment production demand and integration in their facilities
  • Produce a monthly Sales, & Operations Plan (S&OP) to determine our capacity utilization in the next 18 months
  • Understand capacity metrics such as cycle/takt time and use them to validate operational plans
  • Suggest action plans to ensure we can meet our customer's demand and avoid lost orders, working with operational teams to identify opportunities to outsource, expand capacity, or insource globally
  • Coordinate with other regions to load-balance capacity utilization globally
  • Track planned vs actual utilization to identify discrepancies and improve the planning model
  • Evolve S&OP model to identify action triggering points for orders with high degree of certainty before orders are received. Coordinate advanced activities to maximize near term capacity utilization, including support to Supply Chain for BOM level material forecast
  • Support transition of S&OP model from Excel based to a sustainable and scalable software tool
  • Liaise with operational teams to develop long range capacity planning models
  • Provide Financial Analysts with inputs on resources needed to meet customer demand and that should be made part of the company's financial forecast
  • Liaise with Product & Pricing Analyst, in addition to operational and engineering teams to better understand resources needed to produce various equipment
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred) in Industrial Engineering or Business, or other related fields
  • 5+ years of experience in equipment manufacturing, industrial engineering, or finance
  • Excel proficiency, including pivot tables. Powerpivots, Macros and MS Access a plus
  • Strong quantitative analytical skills, with experience or ability to quickly learn Power BI
  • Clear communicator, ability to interact across functions and levels in a global organization
  • Self-starter, takes initiative
  • Curious, inquisitive, asks questions when things don't make sense
  • Interest to learn more about manufacturing strategies, supply chain, and operations planning
