Summary

This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Financial Resources (ASFR), Office of Grants (OG), GrantSolutions (GS), located in Rockville, Maryland. GrantSolutions is responsible for delivering end-to-end grants management services to more than fifteen hundred national programs awarding, monitoring, and financially reporting on grants to States, Tribes, Territories, and other non-profit organizations.

Responsibilities

The purpose of this position is to provide operational, administrative, marketing and outreach support to the Director of Partner Services and Partnership Development as well as other US Government senior management officials on cross cutting grant program activities and initiatives pertaining to grant management and administration, grant information systems, and legislative matters. This position supports an $80B program, and leads a team of four or more Federal employees in the area of business, contract, administrative and financial analysis.

Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the Specialized Experience requirements as noted below.

Specialized Experience:
GS-14: You must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-13 level in the Federal service that includes the following:
  • Managing cross cutting grant program activities and initiatives pertaining to grant management and administration;
  • Conducting and/or directing high-level and crosscutting projects and initiatives to communicate advice and assistance to senior personnel on grants management practices; and
  • Researching, analyzing, and interpreting business requirements to identify needed changes.
