Job Announcement

Under general supervision, performs financial processing tasks to include procurement of goods and services, accounts payable and accounts receivables, preparing inter-fund billings for internal charge-back and reimbursements for grants and work performed in support of Department of Information Technology and the organizations it supports through the county's information technology funds. Performs complex and voluminous amounts of procurements and invoice processing including associated tasks such as: program management support, accounts management for procurement documents, invoices and transactions processing in FOCUS and local databases, contracts tracking, processing and posting revenue and general files management. Ensures appropriate document submissions and contract compliance through preparing reports, working with program managers, vendors, and third-party resellers. Prepares, validates, and distributes bills to organizations for goods and services supplied by the department and its associated funds. Complies with county requirements for FOCUS and county fiscal policies and procedures as it relates to all fiscal transaction processing policies and procedures. Participates in agency events and performs other duties as assigned.

Note: The assigned functional areas of this position are finance and purchasing.

Employment Standards

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Any combination of education, experience and training equivalent to high school graduation and three years of experience providing administrative support in the assigned functional area(s).

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background check to the satisfaction of the employer.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience using FOCUS to process procurements, accounts payable, and creating reports. Must have supported procurements between multiple agencies and business units. An understanding and ability to interpret contracts for viability and value adjustments. Knowledge of IT projects and procurement process a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Job is generally sedentary in nature, however, employee must be sufficiently mobile to deliver documents and operate keyboard driven equipment. Visual acuity is required to read data on a computer monitor and in printed format. All duties performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
