Summary
The MIL Corporation seeks an HR Coordinator to provide support and assistance to the Corporate Services Human Resources Team. This role is a great opportunity to learn and master HR fundamental skills, while building business acumen within a fast-paced corporate environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide new hire onboarding experience through partnership with recruiting and hiring managers. Including but not limited to: welcoming new hires with prepared onboarding kits, first-day orientation, logistics, paperwork, and quarterly luncheon.
  • Support the maintenance of the Human Resources Information tools and systems.
  • Supports employees by researching and responding to questions, providing timely and accurate counsel on HR policies and data inquiries.
  • Develop and manage communication regarding organizational updates, HR related programs and policies.
  • Works cross functionally with Communications Team on improvement and creation of internal HR content and HR website.
  • Own the employee exit process through scheduling and conducting of exit interviews, coordinating paperwork, tracking of exit feedback and partnering with appropriate HR Manager on communication of feedback to department Executives and Leaders.
  • Assist HR Manager in organizational training efforts such as prepare training materials, on-line platform participant set up, participant tracking and facilitation support.
  • Assist with the administration of HR programs and initiatives as requested, such as: Open Enrollment, Wellness Program, HR Newsletter.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Communication, Psychology or related field of study preferred.
  • Strong administrative core, able to readily identify efficient ways to process, organize and manage data, files and information.
  • Ability to travel to the local VA/MD/DC market

Desired Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience preferred in an administrative position involving HR related work.
  • PHR certification
  • SHRM-CP certification
  • Experience with ADP WorkforceNow
