As a Recruiter at Rapid Finance

You'll take on a full-cycle, recruiter role. You'll source candidates, guide them through our process, negotiate offers and close them. On our team, you'll interact with hiring leaders and hiring teams, often. You'll also have the opportunity to shape the strategies and tools we use to get the job done.

We are looking for a HIGH ENERGY Recruiter to join our team NOW! This position is located in our Bethesda, MD office.

About the Role
  • Full life-cycle recruitment working on a myriad of high priority Sales, Analysts, Operations and Technical roles across Rapid Finance.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, build strong diverse pipelines, source passive candidates while engaging with inbound applicants.
    • Posting job descriptions on job boards, and tracking posting status and results
    • Source, screen, interview, and assess candidates (passive and active)
    • Pre-screen resumes submitted and conduct pre-interview phone screening
    • Conduct all reference checking and appropriate background checks on selected candidates
  • Partner with Hiring Leaders across all levels to create and execute recruiting strategies, and drive the hiring process.
  • Drive the offer process by working closely with leadership team, close and onboard candidates.
  • Develop sourcing strategy to identify and attract qualified candidates through the "new normal" virtual network.
  • Ensure hiring leaders and team preparedness during the interview process and that interviews are conducted efficiently and professionally.

About You:
  • Bachelors degree
  • 4 years of proven experience in recruiting/sourcing talent for a range of positions; financial services industry is preferred
  • Detail oriented, organized, creative, proactive, and understand the urgency and confidentiality of the recruiting function; Can source, screen, and interview large volumes of candidates for numerous openings
  • Passionate about sourcing passive and diverse talent
  • Have demonstrated experience in building/cultivating strong relationships with candidates / staffing sources
  • Experience with web-based applicant tracking systems (JazzHR is preferred) as well as experience recruiting through the use of job boards, social media and networking
  • You love recruiting and see it as your mission to provide an amazing experience for all the candidates and hiring leaders you work with
  • Have knowledge of current HR law regarding employment
  • Are autonomous but not afraid to ask for help when needed
  • Are not only driven by individual success, but the by the success of the team
  • Have the ability to prioritize and work well in a fast paced environment with competing demands
  • Knowledge of building personal networks (Employee Resource Groups, User Groups, Community Organizations, etc) and Social Networking (LinkedIn, Spoke, Twitter, Google+, etc)
  • Accomplish tasks and responsibilities in accordance with scheduled deadlines without sacrificing quality standards; demonstrates punctuality in both work performance and attendance
  • Consultative and influencing skills
  • Excellent understanding of the internet as a sourcing tool
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality, diplomacy, professionalism and the highest level of discretion
  • Sharp, quick, aggressive ability to deal with business; demonstrate business communication and written skills

Technical skills required:
  • MS Office (Expert in Outlook and Excel)
  • Internet savvy, experience with web-based recruitment tools, including social media
  • Ability to write compelling job postings
