As a member of the Office of Marketing and Communications, the copywriter will be responsible for writing compelling, on-brand copy for websites, brochures and other publications, emails and other collateral. The goal of the copywriter is to engage and influence people’s behavior through words and stories. In addition to copy and content creation, the copywriter will work collaboratively with all members of the campus community, including the Graduate School, advancement and alumni relations, and undergraduate admission, to research and find exciting ideas to tell the Hood College story. Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, public relations or communications-related field and 1-2 years’ experience writing and producing public-facing content.
