The Center for Fitness & Health at Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire a Registered Respiratory Therapist who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist in Cardiac Rehab you will:
• Work with cardiac rehab patients in the Outpatient Pulmonary Rehab program at the Center
for Fitness & Health.
• Provide respiratory care services to individual patients and their families by the application of
the clinical process in assessing, care, planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating
the care given.
• Respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility and perform routine maintenance on
equipment.

Qualified candidates will possess:
• Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner (required)
• Active Maryland State RCP license (required)
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
• Must obtain ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications within one year of full-time employment
• Strong customer service skills and ability to handle a multi task environment
• Basic PC skills such as Windows NT and computerized respiratory equipment

Work Schedule:

Variable part-time; work schedule is Tuesdays and Thursdays 9a-3p with flexibility for an additional 1-2 hours if needed
