Job Responsibilities:
* Welcomes visitors, in person with a smile and directing them appropriately
* Role-model's positive customer service behaviors through the consistent application & deployment
of AHC's Values and Mission principles and holds self & others accountable
* Effectively Answers and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner
* Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including a fax machine, a copy machine, and
a computer
* Sign for Certified mail and packages.
* Back up for Mail Clerk Position, this entails: Receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail
* Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
* Uses the Internet and a wide variety of office software, such as Microsoft Office and desktop
publishing applications, and computer equipment to conduct research, communicate, create
spreadsheets, manipulate data and perform related functions.
* Answers General Human Resources questions

Qualifications:

* Demonstrates integrity; is ethical in conduct and decision-making and values diversity
* Demonstrates initiative, flexibility and work well under pressure
* Communicates well, both verbally and in writing
* Must be personable and enjoy working with people
* Able to initiate, plan and follow through with projects
* Must be neat in appearance and well groomed
* Well organized and efficient

Education and Experience:
* Associates Degree or higher
* Accurate typing of 50 WPM
* Knowledge of excel, word and power-point skills
* 3 or more years of experience in secretarial duties

Work Schedule:

PRN position working Evenings 4:30 - 8pm Monday thru Friday with every other weekend rotation.

As a result, medical marijuana use will not be accepted as a valid explanation for a positive drug test result.

Adventist HealthCare will withdraw offers of employment to applicants who test positive for Cotinine (nicotine) and marijuana. Those testing positive are given the opportunity to re-apply in 90 days, if they can truthfully attest that they have not used any nicotine products in the past ninety (90) days and successfully pass follow-up testing.
