Senior Associate, Product Management, Digital Servicing Platforms

Capital One's Servicing Platforms organization is seeking candidates who are hungry to be at the forefront of innovation to help define and create new experiences that will benefit hundreds of millions of Americans.

We are seeking Product Managers to work on Sage, Capital One's insights and coaching platform. Sage helps uncover issues, risks, and trends in our customer conversations to effectively coach agents and replicate successful interactions. With Sage you can learn what drives a positive or negative customer experience, uncover pain-points, and analyze customer feedback to improve our products, processes, and customer experiences.

In this role you will work with engineers, designers, data scientists, analysts, and operations leaders to define the Sage product strategy and develop next-gen capabilities such as advanced text analytics and machine learning models. As the Product Manager, you will be able to empathize with users and customers, understand business needs, and ideate and evaluate solutions tailored to those needs. You will do it all in a collaborative environment that values your insight, encourages you to take on new responsibilities, promotes continuous learning, and rewards innovation.

General areas of responsibilities:
  • Set product vision and lead road mapping, goal setting, prioritizing, capability delivery, and product roll-out strategy
  • Continually drive to understand customer needs and ensure they are considered in prioritization and trade-off discussions
  • Develop and lead customer research, prototyping, and test and learn agendas with a focus on building MVP experiences to learn about hypotheses
  • Partner with our Tech and Data Science teams to find opportunities to leverage Machine Learning to deliver real-time, personalized and contextual experiences for our customers
  • Lead grooming activities within an Agile team, specifically defining and writing user stories, acceptance criteria and customer experience
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and feedback loops with leaders and stakeholders who manage the downstream operations and processes that depend on the capabilities and performance of our platforms
  • Help with overall thought leadership around platform development at the intersection of data+design+tech for the sake of creating meaningful, measurable business and customer value.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree or military experience

- At least 1 year of experience in product management, project management, or engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's Degree or MBA

- 3+ years of experience translating business strategy into digital products

- 3+ years of experience in Agile product management
