Adventist HealthCare Behavioral Health and Wellness seeks to hire an experienced Certified Recreation Therapist for our Expressive Therapy Department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Behavioral Health Certified Recreation Therapist you will:
•Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to provide evidence based treatment and service for inpatient and outpatient psychiatric patients.
•Plan and conduct therapeutic groups with child, adolescent, adult, and senior populations.
•Document patients responses to these services in accordance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications include:
•Bachelors or Masters degree in Therapeutic Recreation required
•National Board CTRS certification required
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
•Prior experience in acute care and knowledge of psychiatric diagnoses and treatment
• Experience with inpatient or outpatient psychiatric patient caseload (1+ yrs. preferred)
•Comfortable with working with a small staff and at times the sole therapist

    Full-time, Sun- Thurs, 9am - 5pm
