Our ideal candidate is passionate about serving infertility patients. You will work closely with infertility patients and be responsible for maintaining and monitoring calendars, patient education, and medication management. Will assist in IVF retrieval and transfer procedures and IVF patient clinic. You will ensure custom IVF treatment plans are followed. Regular daytime hours with some rotating Sunday work is required.

Responsibilities:

Contact patients as needed to ensure completion of requirements. Educate patients about IVF procedures, treatment protocols, medication, and injections. Communicate with provider any patient related issues, ultrasound findings and lab results. Daily telephone calls to patients informing of lab results, coordinating appointments, and communicating therapy changes. Documentation of office visits, telephone calls, and lab results. Telephone triage. Physician assistance in various procedures. Preparation of patients preparing to undergo In-Invitro Fertilization, and Frozen Embryo Transfers.

Providing compassion and emotional support and counseling to patients throughout the IVF experience.

Works effectively as a team member and maintains good working relations with nursing staff and other employees through appropriate communication.

Order supplies and keep inventory of stock.

Education and Experience:

RN or LPN licensure. Current BLS Certification for healthcare workers. Previous hospital or women’s health experience preferred. Phlebotomy skills. Knowledge of military medical systems (CHCS, AHLTA) preferred. Proficiency with MS Office. Strong organizational skills. Excellent customer service and written/verbal communication skills.

Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at a time.
