Principal Extended Operations Associate

And now, our Business Services team is looking to add a Principal Associate to help us manage Mail and Scanning Services, Professional Print Solutions, and Office Equipment management and support.

A typical day in the life of this Service Operations Associate :
  • Collaborate within WPS, all lines of business and with our third-party partners to design, deliver and manage key operational processes and policies that have direct impacts on our associates.
  • Manage select key priority projects that support the ongoing digital transformation of Business Services
  • Partner with our Enterprise Risk Office representatives to lead a number of risk management activities for Business Services, embodying our well-managed imperative
  • Networking with external parties to learn what's new in the industry.


Your days look like that because:
  • Through our partners we handle millions of pieces of mail every year for our associates, teams and partners-Capital One's business depends on us getting it right
  • We manage the entire fleet of Multi-Function printers for the US and Canada for both back-office and branch locations. Those printers including the software and hardware are integral to work processes
  • As a service partner, customer experience is paramount, so start with how you want your customers to feel and every interaction will deliver a great outcome
  • Understanding the services we offer and staying current with trends is important to us-holding our partners accountable for innovation helps us win in the workplace
  • We solve problems every day


You'll need to wear many hats, including:
  • Learner : You invest time to dive in and understand Mail Services, Print Infrastructure and Professional Printing services
  • Project Manager : You keep work on track and help teams understand risks and opportunities
  • Stakeholder : You're the voice of Business Services in specific operations and interactions across WPS
  • Vendor Manager/Partner : You understand operations and service metrics to help our partners be successful
  • Collaborator : You work with our clients and partners to deliver great outcomes and solutions
  • Juggler : You don't get overwhelmed or flustered easily. You keep track of multiple projects at once and manage your time efficiently and appropriately.

Let's get down to basics:

Basic qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent military experience
  • At least 1 year of vendor management or budget management
  • At least 2 years of project coordinator management experience
  • At least 2 years of accounting or budget management activities critical to running and maintaining service operations
  • At least 1 years of vendor management including KPIs or budgets


Preferred qualifications
  • College degree or military experience
  • Prior experience managing mail and/or print services
  • Agile scrum master training
  • Proficient in G Suite tools and JIRA
  • Knowledge of and ability to use Agile practices and JIRA boards
  • Desire to dive deep and learn Business Services inside and out
