Provides quality therapeutic care while under the guidance of site coordinator to clients that are assigned to the specific unit/department. Intern works with Sr. Behavioral Health Therapist or Lead Therapist to learn and assist with the following clinical skills: conducting psychosocial assessments, conducting individual, group and family therapy sessions, participating in the interdisciplinary treatment and transition and discharge process. Intern does not work independently, however observes and closely monitors the work of the licensed clinician. As the internship progresses, more work is done with the close supervision/monitoring by the licensed clinician.

Work Schedule:

M-Th: 8 am to 8 pm. F: 8 am to 5 pm.
