The American Enterprise Institute (AEI) is seeking a staff accountant to join its accounting team.
The staff accountant will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process and assisting in the analysis of the general ledger, financial statements, and budget. Additional responsibilities include assisting with closing process and annual audits. The staff accountant will report to the controller.
The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree or higher in accounting with a minimum of two years of relevant experience. The candidate must be proficient in Excel and have a strong understanding of account coding and procedures relating to fixed assets and expenses. Prior experience with Concur or Intacct is a plus. Strong verbal and written communications skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team environment are essential.
